뉴 게이트 글로벌감리교회 (구 성누가 연합감리교회)를 방문하신 여러분을 환영합니다. 우리 뉴 게이트 글로벌리교회는 1977년 3월 6일에 창립되어서 미국 교회인 킬린 제일 연합감리교회의 주일학교 교실 하나를 빌려서 13명이 모여서 첫 예배를 드림으로 시작되었습니다.
현재는 하나님의 은혜로 말미암아 매주일 170여명 이상의 성도들이 모여서 1부, 2부, 3부로 나누어서 예배를 드리고 있습니다. 저희 교회가 위치한 킬린지역은 많은 군인가족들이 살고 있는 지역으로 뉴 게이트 교인의 80%이상이 한국과 미국문화가 공존하는 이중문화 가정로 이루어져 있습니다. 그래서 주일 아침에 8:30에 드리는 1부 예배와 11시에 드리는 3부 예배는 한국어 예배로 드리고 있으며 3부는 영어로 동시 통역을 제공하고 있습니다. 그리고 영어 문화권 성도분들을 위해 9:45에 드리는 2부 예배는 영어로 드리고 있습니다.
뉴 게이트 교회는 복음의 열정과 선교의 소망을 품은 교회입니다. 누가복음을 쓴 누가가 과부와 고아, 소외되고 외로운 사람들에게 복음이 전파되도록 노력한 것처럼 뉴 게이트 교회는 킬린 지역에서 부터 아프고 소외되고 도움이 필요한 이들에게 그리스도의 복음을 전파하고 더 나아가 지역사회와 세상을 변화시켜 우리 교회의 사명인 제자삼는 교회가 되도록 노력하고 있습니다.

I would like to express my warmest welcome to you for visiting New Gate Global Methodist Church (formerly St. Luke United Methodist Church). New Gate was founded on March 6, 1977, by having the first worship service with 13 members at First United Methodist Church of Killeen, TX.
We have about 170 Sunday worship attendees in three different Sunday worship services as we grow with the blessing of God. New Gate UMC is located in Killeen, TX which is directly adjacent to Fort Hood, well known as the largest Army post in the United States. About 80% of parishioners of New Gate come from cross-cultural and/or cross-racial families living in Korean and American cultures. To reflect our cultural, and racial diversity, we provide three different worship opportunities on Sundays. We provide worship service in Korean at 8:30 and 11:00 (with English interpretation). The receiver for the live translation is available at the entrance of the sanctuary. The 9:45 service is in English.
New Gate is a church that is passionate about the good news of Jesus Christ and desires to achieve the mission of the church. As the author of the Gospel of Luke desired to proclaim the Gospel to those who were widows, orphans, the marginalized, and the poor, New Gate Global Methodist Church is striving to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by bringing the good news of Christ to those who are sick, marginalized, and outcasted, in our community.
